Child Safety Standards

1. Our Commitment

Nikkahfied is an Islamic matrimonial platform operated by Nikkahfied Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) that exists solely to help adult Muslims find a compatible spouse for marriage (nikah). We have a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain how we prevent, detect, and respond to any such content or conduct on our platform, in line with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.

2. Adults Only (18+)

• Nikkahfied is strictly for users who are 18 years of age or older. Minors are not permitted to create an account or use the platform under any circumstances.
• Users must confirm their age and provide accurate date-of-birth information during registration.
• If we become aware that a user is under 18, we remove the account and delete the associated data.

3. Prohibited Content & Conduct

The following are strictly forbidden and result in immediate removal and account termination:

• Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including images, videos, text, or links that sexualise, exploit, or endanger a minor.
• Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to contact, lure, or exploit a minor.
• Sharing, requesting, or promoting sexual content involving anyone under 18.
• Any nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content (prohibited platform-wide regardless of age).
• Impersonating a minor or misrepresenting age.

4. Prevention & Detection

• Manual profile review: every profile, including photos and bio, is reviewed by our moderation team before it goes live.
• Selfie verification: we use live selfie verification to confirm members are real, adult people and to deter fake or underage accounts.
• Ongoing moderation: our team monitors reports and content around the clock and removes violating accounts and material.
• Screenshot protection: screenshots and screen recordings are blocked across the app to protect user images from misuse.

5. Reporting

Any user can report a profile, message, or piece of content directly in the app using the in-app block and report tools, or by emailing us at contact@nikkahfied.com. Reports relating to child safety are treated as the highest priority and actioned without delay.

6. Our Response & Reporting to Authorities

When we identify or receive a report of CSAE or CSAM, we promptly remove the content, terminate the responsible account, and preserve relevant evidence. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant local law-enforcement authorities, and cooperate fully with their investigations, as required by applicable law.
